I'm a Croatian-American psycholinguist interested in psychology, language, and computer science. My professional background is in technology and nonprofit work. Formally, I have training in social psychology, religions of antiquity, and dead ancient languages.

I was born in Southern Europe and immigrated to the United States at a young age. My formal training includes both hard sciences and the humanities; however, most of my professional experience is related to the field of technology.

    Mindspace Studio is a podcast dedicated to discussing "what we talk about when we talk about mind." This psycholinguistics-themed program offers 30-60 minute episodes concerning the kinds of words, phrases, and constructions people use when referring to mental action: for example, thinking, feeling, brain, heart, mind, thought, idea, etc. All guests are either native speakers of one or more languages or thought leaders in linguistics, psychology, or another related specialty. As the host, I am responsible for conducting the interviews and content curation.

    The Ted Reese Memorial Scholarship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was formed in the Spring of 2022 as a way to continue the legacy of legendary Bonny Eagle High School wrestling coach Ted Reese. The scholarship awards one Bonny Eagle High School wrestling senior $1,000 to help with the costs of post-secondary education. Awarding of the scholarship is based on the ideals and principles that Coach Reese promoted in wrestling and life. As a member of the board of directors, I help the organization accomplish its mission by means of providing input on all matters related to technology.

    I teach young children the fundamentals of folkstyle and freestyle wrestling by means of running group coaching seminars and conducting private one-on-one training sessions. As a former high school state tournament finalist, three-time state place winner, and collegiate division I wrestler at the University of Maryland, it is my privilege to give back to both my local community and the sport that has taught me so much about life.

    Volunteer, poverty alleviation ministries · February 2015 - January 2019

    I contributed to Valley Vegas Church's poverty alleviation efforts via two of its food drive programs. The Brown Bag Ministry helps feed needy families via distribution of brown bag lunches based on purchases and donations made by the church. I worked alongside a team of other volunteers to help with the preparation of the bags. The second program, the VVC Food Drive, collects donations from food vendors around the city of Las Vegas to give away to needy families on a weekly basis. As a volunteer, I helped set up tables, prepare the goods, and distribute it every Saturday morning at the church's location on 4500 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102.
